Beltane – A Six Week Guide to Witch’s Night
April 22 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm PDT
BELTANE – MAY DAY / WITCH’S NIGHT Spellbound
The 2021 Series of the Wheel of the Year continues with Beltane, also known as May Day or Walpurgisnacht in some traditions. For many Pagans, this marks the return of The Green Man – a lusty and puckish side of The God. This Cross-Quarter Day is a popular Fire Festival ushering in the deep heart of Spring, and for some places, Summer. Falling on April 30th/May 1st each year, the date of Beltane marks the halfway point of the Spring season in the Northern Hemisphere.
Lusty, mischievous, and playful, the spirit of Beltane is light-hearted but serious about fun. Marked by massive bonfires, maypoles and “greenwood marriages” that only lasted a year and a day (or one long lovely night), Beltane is a holiday focused on celebrating the fecundity and power in the exchange of energy and passion between humans.
But the work isn’t done after one night! We’ll take a look at what we can expect for the coming 6-8 weeks of each season, learn how you can observe this time of change for yourself or with your community, and get ready to Do The Work.
Grab a friend, a journal or some art supplies, maybe make a pot of tea and a snack, and settle in. I also encourage folks to create sacred space for themselves by lighting a candle and/or some incense. You might also include magical tools like Tarot and your natal chart. This livestream is free for all beings, thanks to the support of my Patrons and year-long students! You will need a Youtube (free) account to comment in class. Follow me on YouTube to get alerts when new videos are announced!
Folks subscribed to my Patreon at the Venus level ($9) and higher will have access to a Dropbox folder which has the complete PDF workbook, 6+ week calendar, all slides from class, as well as the recording (for those who miss class, or those who want to study throughout the season.) https://www.patreon.com/MeaganAngus

The Wheel of The Year is an ongoing series of 2-hour lectures focused on The Eight Sabbats or holidays of Wicca and Paganism. We look closely at The Western European and American Pagan traditions, but we also look at other traditions and myths from around the World, paying close attention to where these traditions match up. Workbook and calendar supplied with every class.
Working the Wheel is a sacred practice for many Wiccans, Witches and other Pagans around the globe. This tradition witnesses the Witch’s Year. We see in the battle of the Holly King vs Oak King, as well as the cycles of the Three-Fold Goddess. But it is possibly an echo of a far older collection of spiritual practices based on the observance of natural rhythms that are reflected in stellar, planetary, solar, and lunar movements. Tarot Circle 2020 is a drop-in Tarot workshop series for folks who are wanting to explore, play, and experiment with Tarot in a group setting.
These Tarot workshops are taught in a private setting to create a safer container for study and exploration of intense subject matter. As such, they are only available to Patrons, folks in the year-long Wheel study program, and folks in the Tarot Mentoring programs. I will try to have something for folks at all levels, and paths.
From group discussion and exploration of fundamental concepts to creativity exercises aimed at developing divergent thinking and a personalized relationship with the symbolism of Tarot. And there will be a lot of laughter.
